Frost Witch

Frost witches have the ability to freeze lock enemies, keeping the player safe, which in the end saves huge amounts of time from not dying. While it does take more time to kill enemies, it does a great job at keeping the player alive. This build does so by having a high energy shield, chaos inoculation (yes, even after nerf since this is an energy shield build and we need CI), and staying at range.

Although you can vary your build from this, the key is to pick up frost and energy shield talents while making sure to have some damage output.

Gear:

For this Path of Exile Witch build You are going to primarily be boosting all gear to support Ice Lance, Freezing Pulse, and Frost Wall. You will want to primarily push for Ice Lance having increased critical damage, and Freezing Pulse to have a fast casting and multiple projectiles is nice. Frost wall you use to escape when you get in trouble. Speed to boots obviously for kiting.

This Path of Exile Frost Witch build is pretty straight forward to anybody who reads the skills. You will be primarily trying to keep enemies as far away from you as possible while chucking Ice Spears at them to keep them frozen. In most cases you will be gearing purely for energy shield for the durability and gemming for critical/mana/etc.

Roughly, find target, shoot Ice Spears until dead. If enemy gets close, start using Freezing Pulse+Frost wall to escape. In groups you naturally try to slow as many enemies as possible while spamming Lance on the bigger bosses.
